The Athermal 100 GHz WDM module is based on an AWG manufactured using silica planar lightwave circuit technology. Special packaging techniques result in minimal variations of ITU channels without active thermal control. Industry leading low-loss PLC chip fabrication system together with Telcordia-qualified packaing result in high-performance robust devices which meet demanding telecommunications requirements.
