Enablence’s advanced Integrated Switches use our proprietary Planar Lightwave Circuit (PLC) technology to offer maximum integration in a small footprint.

Only Enablence can deliver an 8x8 Optical Cross-Connect with a built-in Variable Optical Attenuator (VOA) for each port on a single chip – in a package slightly longer than a credit card. And no one can provide 48-channel VOAs on one small chip the size of a U.S. dime.

Our switches are ideal for a variety of applications within metro or long-haul communications systems such as re-directing traffic, monitoring traffic and multi-casting signals. We also offer a broad range of non-blocking PLC switches to increase network flexibility, reliability and scalability, while reducing operating costs.
