Multiplying the Power of Optical Fiber

Enablence offers an array of splitters based on our proprietary Planar Lightwave Circuit (PLC) technology that are completely passive, requiring no external power for operation. They are also suitable for any arbitrary data rate, making them ideal for any network application ranging from 1 to 100Gbps.

A splitter is a device that splits an optical signal from one fiber into two or more fibers. Our splitter products are typically integrated into a rack mount splitter module. These modules are used in many applications, such as splitting one fiber to 32 different homes in a Fiber-to-the-Home network.

Enablence offers both 1xN and 2xN splitter configurations. Polarization maintaining splitters are also available, and are becoming increasingly important in many applications, for example, in test & measurement.
