L-1148/2148/3148 Subscriber Modules
The MAGNM-10/20 copper subscriber modules provide options from POTS only to full triple play subscriber modules. Each of these modules provides 48 POTS, ADSL2+ or ADSL2+ and digitized POTS combination ports. The MAGNM provides voice services via direct connection to a next-generation SoftSwitch via MGCP or SIP as well as providing GR-303 POTS services via our voice gateway platform for up to 48 subscribers configurable on a per port basis.. The MAGNM distributed architecture ensures that MAGNM performance does not decrease as additional Subscriber Modules are added.

The MAGNM fabric modules provide inter-module and transport connectivity as well as device aggregation. The second generation F-8208 fabric module provides 10 times greater performance for inter-module communication than the first generation F-8108 fabric module. While optimized for GPON and 1 Gigabit Fiber to the Home applications, the F-8208 fabric can provide connectivity for any MAGNM application including mixed copper and fiber deployments.The Fabric Module provides multiple 1Gb/s Ethernet ports via Small Form Factor Pluggable (SFP) optics and 10/100/1000Mb/s Ethernet ports, as well as modular 10Gb/s Ethernet XFP ports. The transport links can be used individually or can trunked together using 802.3ad link aggregation to form a higher speed virtual link, cost effectively increasing transport capacity.

The F-8106 and F-8108, MAGNM fabric modules provide inter-module and transport connectivity. The Fabric Modules reside in two dedicated slots and connect to all of the subscriber modules via high speed dedicated mid-plane links.The Fabric Module provides multiple 1Gb/s Ethernet ports via Small Form Factor Pluggable (SFP) optics and 10/100/1000Mb/s Ethernet ports, as well as modular 10Gb/s Ethernet XFP ports (F-8108 only). The transport links can be used individually or can trunked together using 802.3ad link aggregation to form a higher speed virtual link, cost effectively increasing transport capacity. The fabrics are typically deployed in a redundant fashion in each MAGNM system to ensure maximum resiliency.

The L-6104 is a standards based 2.488 GPON Optical Line Terminal (OLT) module for the MAGNM. With support for 4 pluggable SFP based GPON ports, each delivering 2.488 Gb of bandwidth downstream and 1.244 Gb upstream, the device provides the flexibility of adding optics as the network grows. The L-6104 also provides industry leading density with support for up to 1024 ONTs in a MAGNM-10, and up to 2304 ONTs in the MAGNM-20.

The L-5148 triple play optimized Optical Line Terminal (OLT) module for the MAGNM chassis supports up to 48 100Mb/s or 1Gb/s combination active Ethernet Small Form Factor Pluggable (SFP) subscriber ports. As subscriber bandwidth requirements increase, the dual speed ports provide an easy migration path from 100Mb/s to 1Gb/s, without having to upgrade the OLT.
