Emerging applications require the reliable high bandwidth infrastructure provided by the ONT T1/E1 Expansion module. It also allows providers to continue to deliver revenue generating traditional leased line T1 business services.
The T1/E1 Expansion Module employs an IETF standards based approach to circuit emulation over Ethernet using Pseudowire Emulation Edge to Edge (PWE3), including both SAToP (Structure Agnostic Transport over Packet) and CESoPSN (Circuit Emulation Service over Packet Switched Network) modes, ensuring multi-vendor interoperability.
