Director of Operations
Position Overview: This role is primarily responsible for providing strategy guidance and support to quality, productivity improvement, customers relations, and cost reduction programs in the Quality, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain. The role will direct day-to-day operations to meet monthly, quarterly and yearly expectations.
Responsibilities: Director of Operations will be heading all internal and external operation management tasks including: provide leadership, strategic direction and coordination of all operational performances; develop operations related plans, cost reduction, budgets, policies and procedures; interface with Supply Chain to ensure manufacture of required quantities and timely delivery to meet commercial demand; set up process for product outsourcing, coordinate with Contracted Manufacturing; translates customer requirements into manufacturing strategies.
Requirements: minimum five-years’ experience in management of manufacturing or other related engineering type operation; knowledge of cleanroom operation and optical equipment manufacturing; proven track record of successful leadership/management, demonstrating strong leadership, team-building, conflict resolution, supervisory, facilitation, organizational and negotiation skills; excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills; demonstrated ability to make positive impact decisions, prioritize and meet or exceed deadlines; B.S. degree in Engineering or equivalent experience required, MBA preferred.

Requirements: Familiarity with fiber optics, microscopes, packing and QA. Requires basic math skills.Requires familiarity with MS Word, Excel, Access and Powerpoint. Require familiarity with GMP, ERP and Quality Systems. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year in field or related field.
Fab Process Engineer
Position Overview: Support wafer mfg. & engineering activities, oversee process integration & operate equipment; enhance yield by monitoring yield trend for different products; perform inspection & reduce defect for cost saving & improved reliability for customized project; sustain, modify or develop procedure documentations for prototype & production wafers.
Requirements: BS in Chemical Engineering.
Production Sustaining Engineer
Position Overview: Improve process of custom-made chip testing stations with Labview, analyze & solve equipment failures, ensure optimization of automated testing equipment, operate and maintain laser device & develop and improve process database with Access.
Manufacturing Process Engineer:
Position Overview: Develop/maintain/improve manufacturing processes to meet quality, safety and yield requirements. Plan, design, specify and develop manufacturing tooling, machinery and equipment Prepare associated process documentation and train operators. Participate in new product development and failure investigation. Contribute to package design.Work on multiple aspects of Optical Module Packaging.
Requirements: 5+Yrs experience, BS in EE, advanced degree preferred. Experiences with component placement/assembly, wire bonding, solder seal, lid seal, hermeticity leak check. Experiences with Flip-chip bonding or pick and place knowledge a plus.Experience with epoxies desirable.
Position Overview: Responsible for day to day management of manufacturing floor activities. Supervises and coordinates the work of the employees who work in the manufacturing area. Prepares work schedules, assigns work duties and oversees work completion. Responsible for ensuring material requirements are met for all open POs. Ensures that quality and on time delivery needs are met. Adapts to changing customer requirements by prioritizing resources and commitments. Has daily interaction/communication with manufacturing team, sales team and management team. Ability to maintain a cooperative team environment that promotes high performance standards. Relies on judgment, experience, and manager to plan and accomplish goals. Reports to Senior Manufacturing Manager.
Requirements: a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 3 years in field or related field. Requires familiarity with fiber optics, familiarity with MS Word, Excel, Access and Power point, familiarity with GMP, ERP and Quality Systems. A moderate amount of creativity and empowerment is expected.
Position Overview: Focusing on test automation SW development for optical transceiver and components. Be responsible for test method, test plan and test criteria. Be responsible for test result storage, retrieve and analysis.Be responsible for the test system design, qualification and release.
Requirements: Good knowledge and experience with Labview, VB , C++ or C# programming languages; Good knowledge and experience with database structure and tool; Fiber Optic or optical component alignment experience desirable; Good knowledge of optical communication measurement instrumentation, such as BER, OSA, DCA, optical attenuator; Good knowledge of optical measurement methodology; Good analytic and problem solving skills.
Position Overview: Research, design and develop silica-on-Si and polymer PLC (Planar Lightwave Circuit) chips used for DWDM filters and passive optical splitters.
Requirements: Master’s degree in Electrical Engineer; 2 years’ experience in job offered; academic or research background in fiber optic communication systems, optical and electro-optical methods, and fabrication procedure development for electron devices integrated in chip.
Senior Electrical Engineer
Position Overview: Assume engineering ownership for high optical transceiver/RF testing; Develop/setup an automatic test systems for optical transceivers/TOSAs/ROSAs for production and design verification testing; including specifying the required test equipment and the design & development of test boards and fixtures.Summarizes test results, including impacts to product yield, quality, throughput, and cost .Streamline data collection, storage and access to minimize effort required to generate required reports.Sustain and improve test and assembly processes of photonic components; Ensure test station capability and qualification plans are executed and reported as modifications/upgrades are implemented.
Requirements: B.S. Electrical Engineering, Physics or equivalent.3-5 years of experience with RF and high speed transceivers. Experiences using RF simulation software or equivalent circuit schematics capture and layout tools; Experience with software automation, LabView, Visual Basic, Access.Experience with fiber optics, LDs, PDs.
