Equipment Engineer

Position Overview: Maintaining wafer FAB equipment and facilities to ensure smooth high volume manufacturing. Trouble-shooting equipment and process issues .Conducting scheduled PMs .Maintaining or defining equipment SOPs including PM schedules. Maintaining or defining quality management standard including creating and reviewing SPC charts for robust quality control. Supporting process engineer in process trouble shooting.

Requirements: 3 years of hands-on experience in CVD, PVD, RIE, e-beam, high temperature annealing, and photo lithography equipment.Basic understanding of the above processes. Wafer FAB experience in using SPC and DOE. Knowledge of DI water equipment, electrical power supply, electronic component is a plus. Strong problem solving, teamwork, project management, and communication skills. Being able to work a flexible schedule when dealing with critical production line issues. BS in technical field, prefer in mechanical or electrical engineering.

FAB Production Technician

Position Overview: Following clean room protocols, SOPs, process engineer’s instructions, and FAB priority for running all the wafer processes. Performing metrology tool calibration and wafer measurement, recording data into corresponding files or database. Reporting any failures or anomalies in wafer FAB to process engineer. Keeping FAB environment clean. Providing training to new employee. Preparing wafers for shipping. Supporting process & equipment engineer for trouble shooting.

Requirements: Basic computer skills such as using MS Word, Excel, etc. Being able to work different shifts. Being able to work over time when needed. 1 year of wafer FAB work experience, prefer in processing photonic and waveguide related device wafers. High school diploma. Preferred with an associate degree in technical fields.

Photo Lithography Process Engineer

Position Overview: Developing, improving, and sustaining wafer FAB processes including photo lithography, RIE, and thin film deposition processes for high volume photonic integrated circuit manufacturing. Owning photolithography or/and other processes and tools. Conducting data analysis, failure analysis, and yield improvement. Maintaining or defining process SOPs, providing instructions to technicians for wafer processing. Maintaining or defining quality management standard including creating and reviewing SPC charts for robust quality control. Supporting equipment engineer in tool trouble shooting. Providing technical support to contract manufacturers.

Requirements: 2 years of hands-on process development experience in wafer fab in photo lithography, RIE, or thin film deposition. Familiar with material& process characterization methods. Wafer FAB experience in using SPC and DOE. Strong problem solving, teamwork, project management, and communication skills. Being able to work overtime when needed. M.S. in Chemistry, Physics, chemical engineering, Material engineering or related fields. Preferred PhD in the related fields. 

Production Sustaining Engineer

Position Overview: Improve process of custom-made chip testing stations with Labview, analyze & solve equipment failures, ensure optimization of automated testing equipment, operate and maintain laser device & develop and improve process database with Access.

Requirements: MSEE.

Manufacturing Process Engineer:

Position Overview: Develop/maintain/improve manufacturing processes to meet quality, safety and yield requirements. Plan, design, specify and develop manufacturing tooling, machinery and equipment Prepare associated process documentation and train operators. Participate in new product development and failure investigation. Contribute to package design.Work on multiple aspects of Optical Module Packaging.

Requirements: 5+Yrs experience, BS in EE, advanced degree preferred. Experiences with component placement/assembly, wire bonding, solder seal, lid seal, hermeticity leak check. Experiences with Flip-chip bonding or pick and place knowledge a plus.Experience with epoxies desirable.

Automation Engineer

Position Overview: Focusing on test automation SW development for optical transceiver and components. Be responsible for test method, test plan and test criteria. Be responsible for test result storage, retrieve and analysis.Be responsible for the test system design, qualification and release.

Requirements: Good knowledge and experience with Labview, VB , C++ or C# programming languages; Good knowledge and experience with database structure and tool; Fiber Optic or optical component alignment experience desirable; Good knowledge of optical communication measurement instrumentation, such as BER, OSA, DCA, optical attenuator; Good knowledge of optical measurement methodology; Good analytic and problem solving skills.

Optical Engineer

Position Overview: Research, design and develop silica-on-Si and polymer PLC (Planar Lightwave Circuit) chips used for DWDM filters and passive optical splitters.

Requirements: Master’s degree in Electrical Engineer; 2 years’ experience in job offered; academic or research background in fiber optic communication systems, optical and electro-optical methods, and fabrication procedure development for electron devices integrated in chip.

Senior Electrical Engineer

Position Overview: Assume engineering ownership for high optical transceiver/RF testing;  Develop/setup an automatic test systems for optical transceivers/TOSAs/ROSAs for production and design verification testing; including specifying the required test equipment and the design & development of test boards and fixtures.Summarizes test results, including impacts to product yield, quality, throughput, and cost .Streamline data collection, storage and access to minimize effort required to generate required reports.Sustain and improve test and assembly processes of photonic components; Ensure test station capability and qualification plans are executed and reported as modifications/upgrades are implemented.

Requirements: B.S. Electrical Engineering, Physics or equivalent.3-5 years of experience with RF and high speed transceivers.  Experiences using RF simulation software or equivalent circuit schematics capture and layout tools; Experience with software automation, LabView, Visual Basic, Access.Experience with fiber optics, LDs, PDs.

Test Engineer

Position Overview: Focusing on test automation SW development for optical transceiver and components.Be responsible for test method, test plan, test criteria, the test system design, qualification and release.

Requirements: Good knowledge of optical communication measurement instrumentation, such as Network Analyzer, BER, OSA, DCA, optical attenuator. Experience with Labview, VB , C++ or C# programming languages. B.S in Electrical Engineering.
