Bart Fondeur leads Design and Process Integration at Enablence, where he oversees the development of advanced photonic integrated circuit products. He brings more than 30 years of experience in photonics, semiconductor process development, and product commercialization, with hands-on experience across eight semiconductor fabrication facilities. Prior to Enablence, Bart held technical and leadership positions at Aeva, Lumentum, and Corning.  At Lumentum, he served as Distinguished Member of Technical Staff and R&D Director of their 8" PLC Fab. Throughout his career, he has worked across optical design, process integration, engineering management, and product development, helping bring innovative photonic technologies from concept to high-volume manufacturing. Bart is an inventor on more than 30 granted patents in planar lightwave circuits (PLC) and silicon photonics.
